NeoGenesis(CEO: Yongpil Kim, www.neogenesis.co.kr) is going to participate in the upcoming 29th KIMES (Korea International Medical + Hospital Equipment Show) held at Seoul COEX Exhibition Hall from Thursday, March 21 ~Sunday March 24, 2013.

NeoGenesis, specializing in stem cell & cell therapies, has recruited researching and marketing professional manpower in stem cell and autologous cell therapy fields, and continued to research and develop for many years. Also, NeoGenesis is continuing their research and development for new technology and products related to autologous cell/blood as they established their own Medical and R&D departments. NeoGenesis is forming their solid foothold and securing their professionalism in the field.

UNiStation, which NeoGenesis put so much work and released after many years of research and development, is a specially designed medical device to satisfy diverse demands for various autologous cell therapies such as ADSCs (Adipose-derived Stem Cells), PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin), Fat washing in local clinics or hospitals with only one device, and UNiStation has drawn related field’s attention for its specialty.

One of the main functions of UNiStation is to isolate ADSCs (Adipose-derived Stem Cells), or SVF (Stromal Vascular Fraction). Dr. Yoshimura’s CAL (Cell-assisted Lipotransfer – mixing adipose-derived stem cells with fat) surgical method (2008), which UNiStation is mainly created for, is known to maximize adipocytes’ graft survival rate after lipotransfer up to 70%, while existing fat graft method results in 30~40%. As CAL method caused a huge sensation in plastic surgery, dermatology, urology, and etc. in which fat grafting is performed, many professional research institutes have been releasing Adipose-derived Stem Cell isolation devices. According to a research, current global stem cell market size is about $4.2 billion.

UNiStation is attracting other companies’ attention for how it’s differentiated from existing stem cell isolation devices as it provides the maximum capacity of 800cc with the most compact size, simplicity that enables all processes to be done with one button, and a closed system that protects from air contamination. Actually, NeoGenesis established a branch in Chinese region for UNiStation, and secured overseas agents in Asia, Europe, America, and South America. It seems like UNiStation will bring an enormous impact in the medical device market in the future.

Meanwhile , KIMES 2013 (www.kimes.kr) is contributing to medical industry development and export expansion for medical equipment by exhibiting medical appliance and hospital facilities. It is expected to roll out a variety of medical service, diagnosis and Chinese medicine, medical information system, physical therapy, pharmaceutical and emergency equipment at KIMES 2013.
